At one point in the guide, the make the following statement: " Return to speak to Lur Arka Sulas (although a light side character who wants to complete the Genoharadan quests should wait until after completing them): ". Others may say you should still be able to gain enough light side points to achieve light mastery without it, but it's better to be safe than sorry: you might not, particularly if you're not a completionist using a guide (you don't complete every optional quest, or you miss opportunities).
